When the user walks, runs or performs a sporting movement, the foam compresses to reduce pressure and then quickly recovers its shape. This high resilience helps maintain a responsive feel and prevents the material from remaining excessively deformed after each step.

Its open-cell structure allows air to circulate through the foam, improving breathability and comfort during prolonged activity. At the same time, its lightweight nature makes it possible to add more cushioning without unnecessarily increasing the weight of the final product.

Starfit adapts to the contours of the foot and can be manufactured with different density and resilience levels depending on the application. It is therefore particularly suitable for sports footwear, high-performance insoles and products where stability and responsiveness are important. Its fatigue resistance allows it to maintain its performance over a high number of compression cycles.
